There are a number of cases where domestic cats in Berridale suffer at the hands of those who would do them great harm. Clearly a number of cats have: gone missing; been caught in rabbit traps (traps which are so cruel they are banned by law)and; have been drowned. Other fates may have befallen cats Berridale which are not supported by reports and evidence, but there is clear and factual evidence some go missing, some have been drowned and some had their legs injured in rabbit traps.
I recently had my two year old cat come home shaking, heart beating and I thought possibly bitten by a snake but there were no bite marks or bite swellings. Whatever had happened the symptoms were the same as a serious poisoning and he was in an emergency situation. Now a week later he is much better but still recovering and that was after a lot of care. Recently another person in Berridale reported her cat had suffered a leg injury and the same poison symptoms. Unfortunately her beautiful cat passed away.
There are a number of possible reasons for poisoning of cats here, including the poisons people use in their gardens, and snake bite. Still due to the fact there are a few people here clearly trapping and killing cats, who think it OK and even like to boast about it, its very possible cats are being intentionally poisoned. If your cat has a strange leg injury and shows signs of poisoning it is very possible the cat took a bait in a cat trap and was then let go to die at home. I say this based on many reports of such occurances and the fact that one of my cats suffered from a rabbit trapping, another from poisoning and another has never come home.
I think, having now met with those people who wish to kill our domestic cats in Berridale (and those people also then started to harrass and attack me for asking them questions), that it is completely possible there is deliberate poisoining of cats. Signs of rabbit traps and some other traps include the cat having hind leg injuries to the point they have to drag themselves home. I have had two cats drag themselves home in this manner, one an outside cat I feed and another one of my cats.
So yes people with cats have to take great care in Berridale. Still we should not bow to those few cruel people who believe they can get away with doing anything they want to another being. Cats should be allowed to roam a little for a few hours a day, and cat owners should not be compelled to keep them in for fear of those who are basically immoral, hienious, ignorant and cruel. If you suspect your cat has been poisoned tell the RSPCA immediately, write about it here and everywhere - dont allow your town cower to those cruel few in the community.
